Integrative nutrition therapy

EMPOWERING YOU TO RECONNECT TO YOUR BODY

My approach

I am a clinical nutritionist specializing in mental health conditions, digestive issues, and disordered eating.

I offer nutrition therapy through a weight-inclusive, anti-diet approach. I will listen to your story and work alongside you to provide evidence-based approaches to help relieve your symptoms and heal your relationship with food. My work is guided by curiosity and collaboration, placing your intuition at the center of what we do. This shifts the power back to you, so that you learn to discern and assert your needs, ultimately reconnecting back to your body.

My holistic approach encompasses both mind and body, utilizing food, supplements, lifestyle, and mindfulness-based therapeutic techniques.

You will develop a strong foundation of tools and knowledge to support you long after our work is finished.

AbOUT Lauren

The purpose of my work is to support the body's innate ability to heal. Food and nutrition connect the natural world with our inner world in a very tangible way, and this idea keeps me inspired, engaged and motivated to do impactful work.

After completing my master's in Clinical Nutrition in London, England and working in the corporate and charity sectors, I found myself exhausted and burnt-out. From this place, I pivoted my career to become a yoga teacher (E-RYT500) and Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS). I completed my clinical supervision with The Clinician's Incubator, which deeply influenced my focus on Health at Every Size, Disordered Eating, Mental Health Nutrition. Despite forever dealing with imposter syndrome, I opened my private practice in 2021 and have been seeing clients virtually ever since.

In my experience, healing is a matter of reconnecting to our bodies. Many tools can get us there, and in my clinic, I share the ones that have worked for me, which are rooted in principles of functional medicine, yogic philosophy, and somatic therapy.
